Marriage & Relationship Counseling
We're Here to Help
But First, Let's Talk About When We Can't
Thank you for reaching out to us about your marriage. We know that took courage, and we don't take that lightly.
Here's the truth: We want to help every couple who comes to us. However, there are situations where we're simply not equipped to provide the level of care you need at this time.
We cannot work with couples who are currently dealing with:
Severe, untreated mental illness
Active, ongoing physical abuse or violence
Untreated substance abuse (we ask for at least 30 days of sobriety before beginning marriage counseling)
If any of these situations apply to you, please don't hear this as rejection. It means you need specialized help that goes beyond what marriage counseling can provide.
The resources below will connect you with professionals who are trained to help with these specific challenges.
Once you've begun addressing these issues with the right professionals, we'd be honored to walk alongside you in your marriage journey.
We also strongly encourage you to connect with a local, Bible-believing church.
Your pastor and church family can provide the spiritual support, accountability, and guidance that will be essential as you work toward healing. You weren't meant to walk this road alone.
When You Need Immediate Help
If You're Having Suicidal Thoughts:
Call or text 988 or visit 988lifeline.org
The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support. Suicide can be prevented, and you don't have to face this alone. Help is available right now.
If You're Experiencing Domestic Abuse:
Call 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or visit thehotline.org
You can call, chat, or text with professionals who can help you understand what's happening, identify warning signs, find local support, and develop a safety plan. Your safety matters.
If You're Struggling with Addiction or Co-Dependency:
We recommend faith-based 12-step programs that recognize Jesus Christ as the source of healing and transformation. Here are two excellent options:
Celebrate Recovery - A biblically balanced, Christ-centered 12-step program with groups across the US (in-person and online). They address issues including chemical dependency, co-dependency, anger, food and body image issues, gambling, relationship addiction, mental health challenges, and recovery from abuse.

Recovery ALIVE - A Christ-centered program that prioritizes the power of Jesus through the Holy Spirit. They focus on the Power of Recovery, the People of Recovery, and the Process of Recovery. They help with overcoming addiction, redemption from tragedy, freedom from suicidal ideation, and recovery from abuse and shame.

A Word of Encouragement
We know what it's like to face challenges that feel impossible. We've been there. And we've seen God show up in ways we never expected. Whatever you're walking through right now, there's hope. God isn't finished with your story yet.
The fact that you're seeking help shows strength, not weakness. Keep moving forward. Keep reaching out. Keep believing that God can redeem and restore what feels broken right now.
We're praying for you.
